About Hulchi Belluni

Our story

Martine Hul had a dream of creating feminine and wearable jewellery. Fueled by her beliefs in harmony and the Chinese philosophy of Feng Shui she launched her first collection in 2001, Hulchi Belluni was born.

Once upon a time

The exclusive Hulchi Belluni jewellery line, founded on October 15th 2001, started as a real classic collection. Thanks to its diversity as well as its innovative skills, Hulchi Belluni has become a line of genuine, high quality jewellery: renowned for its eye for detail and exquisite finish, it has already gained admiration from all over the world.

Hulchi Belluni’s jewels are the realisation of a passionate dream of Martine Hul. Her 20 years of experience united with her own distinguished style, her sparkling energy, sensitiveness and effervescent creativity allow her to add a unique value to every piece of jewellery she designs guided by the principles of the Feng Shui science. You can feel the jewels radiate ‘Chi’, the positive energy which blissfully brings balance to your body.

Belluni (‘bella luna’) or beautiful moon is the source of creative energy, mysterious romance and pure emotions. Its presence is of great importance and the jewels’ finely shaped details reflect its energy.

Our name

The name of its owner and creative mastermind, ‘Hul’, is inspired by the oriental philosophy and the ‘chi’ element, symbolizing energy and balance. The name also draws from the beautiful moon, ‘bella luna’, which in many cultures is seen as a source of inspiration and a symbol of timeless beauty.

Did you know

All our jewels are in 18karat gold set with high quality natural diamonds that are sourced ethically.

There are different ways cover a gold surface with diamonds:

  • In a ‘pavé setting’ the stones are separated and held in place by little golden claws.
  • In an ‘invisible setting’ there is a notch in each stone’s girdle that slips into a metal grid below the surface. This creates a continuous surface of diamonds with no gold visible between the stones. This setting is used in our Bellucci line.
  • In an 'illusion setting', the stones are selected, arranged, and set in such a way that they collectively create the appearance of a single stone.
